The Path of Partners From Eloise Vincent, Executive Director SOFTLY International Inc. People often ask me, "What is the secret to SOFTLY's success?" I would say it is the combination of the right path and true partnership. First - Our dedication to following what Don Juan, as told to Carlos Castaneda, called the only worthwhile path - the path of heart. This is the path of openness and love telling each child you are important and worthwhile. Second - The ability to network and form powerful partnerships with many other like minded individuals and groups. Our partners in Honduras include Sociedad Amigos de los Ninos (Catholic), Hogar de Amor y Esparanza (Episcopalian) and the Mountain of Light (Presbyterian). We also work in close partnership with the local government leaders such as the Mayor of Roatan and the Congressman of the Bay Islands. In Costa Rica we work with the International Red Cross and the local school system. In Peru our partnerships are the local catholic clergy and indigenous shamans, business leaders and community elders. In the United States we partner with a Baptist organization called CrossLink International. Of course, our dearest and greatest partnerships are with the churches, schools, community organizations, families and individuals who join us in the field and support us financially from home.
